HEAVITREE BREWERY RACE DAY

After all the turbulence of lockdowns and restricted trading it was a fantastic relief to hold our annual Race Day once again at The Jockey Club’s Exeter Racecourse on Devon’s beautiful Haldon Hill. Supported by our partners at St Austell Brewery, Molson Coors and Heineken, races were sponsored by Heavitree Brewery pubs with publicans and customers from across the estate enjoying a cracking meeting, some wonderful food and drink in the hospitality boxes and of course that age-old pursuit of attempting to beat the bookies.

Congratulations to our publicans at the Sandygate Inn in Kingsteignton, Henry’s Bar in Exeter, the Heart of Oak Inn in Exeter, the Cricket Inn at Beesands, the Brunswick Arms in Dawlish and the New Inn in Sampford Courtenay for winning the sales incentive and enjoying all sponsors’ perks on the day. A great day was had by all and some even returned to their pubs with more money in their pockets than when they had set off earlier in the afternoon.
