The Cricket Inn

Nestled in the small fishing village of Beesands in the South Hams, only yards from the beach, this delightful multi-award winning pub first opened its doors in 1867.

Specialising in fresh seafood but also offering a varied menu focused on fresh local produce, the pub has its own indoor charcoal firepit, courtesy of its Josper oven/grill which produces amazingly flavourful grilled food from succulent steaks to mouth-watering seafood, much of it sourced from the sea just a few yards away. The pub’s wine selection is second to none and amongst other drinks there are traditional hand-pulled real ales and local cider.

Small and medium-sized functions are catered for in the extended restaurant area which has folding doors for use in the warmer months, giving an al fresco feel and wonderful sea views.

Overnight accommodation is also available in the pub’s suite of fantastic rooms which offer stunning views of the sea. Free parking is available right outside the pub.
