The Royal Oak is a thatched ‘village’ pub located in Heavitree, one of Exeter’s busiest suburbs; a vibrant community local it has all the trappings of a traditional country pub, harking back to the days when Heavitree itself was a village.
With an excellent reputation for its selection of real ales, certainly the best in Heavitree, the Royal Oak is the last pub of its type in the local area.
There are two external seating areas, one at the front of the pub and one at the rear. Whilst the pub doesn’t have its own car park, there is plenty of available parking in the local area.
